Missoula disc golf is Montana's Ivy League — UDisc ranks it #1 in the state, #30 in the country. The courses are what design nerds dream about: real elevation change, dense tree canopy, technical fairways that reward shot-shaping over raw distance.
But it's not all tunnel shots. Blue Mountain has open sections that reward controlled distance. Pattee Canyon has holes where hyzer bombs pay off. The Missoula bag has to do both — accuracy for the trees, power when the line opens up.
The workhorse
Midranges are Missoula's most important slot.
More holes at Blue Mountain and Pattee land in the 250–350 ft range than any other distance. Your midrange bag matters more here than your distance driver bag.
