2026 Season Recap
The 2026 Badlands Disc Golf Tour was the biggest season in tour history — 11 events, 33 members, and the largest prize pool we've ever put together. From High Sierra in April to Fort Peck in September, players competed across three states for division titles, the Iron Man award, and $1,400 in prizes and payouts.

2027 Season
The Tour is Open in 2027
Starting in 2027, any PDGA-sanctioned event in Montana, North Dakota, or Wyoming can be a Badlands Tour stop. No fixed schedule — the tour grows with the region's calendar. If you're a TD planning a 2027 event and want to be part of the series, reach out.
C-Tier Stop
Purchase a custom Badlands mini for each player at $5/mini. Tour supplies it, you distribute it. Players get a keepsake, the tour recoups its cost.
B-Tier & Above
Purchase a custom Badlands disc for each player at $12/disc. Elevated recognition for elevated events.

Race Starts at Stop One
The Iron Man Award is a permanent fixture of the Badlands Tour. Awarded every season to the member who plays the most tour stops — tracked publicly on the standings page all year so the race is visible from event one. James Lewis is the two-time defending champion.
The System
How Points Work
Badlands Tour standings are calculated using official PDGA event points earned at each tour stop. Points are based on how many players you beat or tied — including yourself — multiplied by your division factor.

The 2025 season featured 9 tour stops across Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming with approximately 20 members competing for division titles. Division leaders had their names engraved on the Badlands Series Cup and were photographed with the Mondak Championship Belt.

Do I need to be a member to play tour events?
No — anyone can compete at official Badlands Tour stops. Membership is required to earn points toward season standings and be eligible for year-end awards and prizes.
How many events do I need to play?
There is no minimum. All members are eligible for year-end awards regardless of how many events they play. Every stop you compete in adds to your season total.
How are points calculated?
Points are based on how many players you beat or tied — including yourself — multiplied by your division factor. Higher tier events award more points to pro divisions. See the points table above for division factors.
What is the 2027 open tour model?
In 2027 any PDGA-sanctioned C-Tier or above in MT, ND, or WY can be a Badlands Tour stop. C-Tier events purchase a custom Badlands mini for each player at $5/mini.
